Secrets of Painting Loose
A Watercolor Workshop
with Eric Wiegardt, AWS, NWS
September 13 – 19, 2012 |
 Willapa Sheen |
This five day workshop will teach you the basic principles of developing a painting in watercolor. Share in the discovery of watercolor with others and the personal attention of your instructor. This is a workshop for those who wish to loosen up in watercolor. Painting techniques and a philosophy of design will encourage bold, loose paintings.
Eric believes most painting problems are the violation of an elementary painting principle. Lectures will be easily understood and helpful to all levels of expertise, from beginner to the professional. There will be ample time for students to try the concepts presented in a safe environment. Eric will do a completed painting demonstration daily. Subject matter may include landscapes, marinescapes, florals, streetscapes, interiors, and still lives. Weather permitting; some plein-air painting may be incorporated.
